Goel Ratzon, born around 1950, is a self-proclaimed Jewish messiah, cult leader, and polygamist living in Tel Aviv. Prior to his arrest in January 2010 and subsequent charges in February for rape, slavery, and fraud, he lived with approximately 40 women, 17 of whom he was married to, treating them as slaves and fathering many children. He also faced accusations of sexual abuse of minors. Ratzon was known for exerting control over his family through intimidation and strict behavior rules.
