Godfrey Worsley was an Anglican priest born on December 4, 1906, and served throughout the 20th century. Coming from an ecclesiastical family, he was ordained as a deacon in 1929 and a priest in 1931. He worked as a curate at Croydon Parish Church before becoming a chaplain to the British Armed Forces from 1933 to 1954. He later served as Rector of Kingsland, Dean of Gibraltar from 1960 to 1969, and was Dean emeritus thereafter. Worsley held the position of Rector of Penselwood from 1969 to 1979. He passed away on November 10, 1990.
