Gō Ogura (October 22, 1962 – September 4, 2011) was a Japanese zoologist known for his research on the mongoose introduced to Okinawa Island. He was recognized as one of Japan's leading researchers on invasive species. Ogura passed away at the age of 48 in 2011.
