Giovanni Corona was an Italian poet born on December 7, 1914, in Santu Lussurgiu. He was an elementary school teacher and affiliated with the Futurist movement, meeting Filippo Tommaso Marinetti in 1937. Throughout his life, he published only one poetry collection, although two anthologies were released posthumously after his death on December 12, 1987, in Cagliari.
