Giora Leshem, born Moshe Giora Rotstein on February 3, 1940, was an influential Israeli poet and translator. He was a key figure in the Israeli literary scene and co-founded the Keshev poetry publishing house, which became the largest independent book publisher in Israel by the time of his death on March 14, 2011. Leshem had two half siblings, Dorit and Yoram Leshem, and made significant contributions to the fields of poetry and translation during his lifetime.
