Gilbert James Kuhn was an American football player and coach, born on January 5, 1915. He played for the USC Trojans under coach Howard Jones and was drafted by the NFL's Brooklyn Dodgers in 1937. Kuhn coached the 1943 Lowry Field Bombers and served as head coach at the University of San Diego in 1956. He passed away on April 12, 2006, due to heart failure.
