Her work is heavily influenced by modern Persian poetry, particularly the works of 20th-century Iranian poets like Forough Farrokhzad and Fereydoon Moshiri. Ghogha's lyrics explore themes of philosophy, politics, and women's rights. In 2010, she performed at the Voices of Change music festival and later criticized Islamic laws limiting women's expression in a program on Arte Television Network.
