Gerard Driehuis is a Dutch journalist born on January 14, 1954, in Amsterdam. He began his career in 1981 as an editor for the opinion magazine De Tijd. Following its merger with the Haagse Post, he served as deputy editor-in-chief and then editor-in-chief of HP/De Tijd. In 1995, he joined Wegener to manage the merger of Twentsche Courant and Tubantia. Since 2007, he has been involved in multimedia consulting, and he became director of De Nieuwe Liefde in 2014 and Felix Meritis in 2015. He also founded 'Welingelichtekringen.nl.'
