Gerard Croiset, born Gerard Boekbinder on March 10, 1909, in Laren, North Holland, was a Dutch parapsychologist and alleged clairvoyant who gained prominence in Europe. He became well-known for assisting police in locating missing persons and solving crimes, yet his claims were met with skepticism as he often found only related objects, not the individuals themselves. His notable work included participating in the 'Place Experiment' conducted by parapsychologists Hans Bender and W.H.C. Tenhaeff in June 1953. Croiset passed away on July 20, 1980.
