Gerald T. Horrigan was an American sculptor born on June 2, 1903, in Quincy, Massachusetts. He studied at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston from 1921 to 1925 and created several notable works, including memorials and monuments throughout Massachusetts and beyond. His works include memorials for World War I and II, and sculptures like Joan of Arc at St. Paul’s Cathedral. After spending four years in Europe, including a notable monument in Spain, he returned to Quincy where he created numerous pieces before his passing on June 30, 1995.
