Gerald Masters, born Gerald Eric Watkiss on February 17, 1955, was a British musician and songwriter renowned for his work in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, forming his first band during his time there. Masters released four solo albums and collaborated with notable artists like Andy Gibb and Neville Staples. He later partnered with writers Aziz Ibrahim and Paul Beard, and in 2006, returned to creating music under the name Rescue Party. He also composed music for television, including the UK program 'A Handful of Smarties'.
