Georgs Novickis (1908-1985) was a Latvian engineer and aircraft designer. He studied engineering at the University of Latvia and worked for Antonius Raab on modifying an aircraft. After being involved in several aircraft designs in Latvia, he emigrated after World War II, first to Brazil and later to the United States, where he worked at the Franklin Institute. Notably, he contributed to the LKOD-2 aircraft and sought manufacturing rights for the Fokker D. 21 for the Latvian Air Force.
