He gained fame for composing the 2019 Eurovision entry for Moldova, 'Stay.' His media career started at age 13, culminating in high-profile roles including hosting shows on major networks. He covered the Eurovision Song Contest from 2000 to 2008 and has appeared in two horror films. Kalpakidis began his musical journey in 2003 and has participated in numerous national selections for the Eurovision Song Contest across Europe.
