George Mutandwa Chiweshe is a retired Brigadier General born on June 5, 1953. He served as the Chairperson of the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC) before becoming a High Judge and later the High Court Judge President. In recent years, he was appointed as a Supreme Court Judge by President Mnangagwa. Chiweshe comes from a family of four, with one brother deceased and one elder sister residing in Mutare.
