Geoffrey Eggleston, known as Geoff, was an Australian poet born on January 15, 1944, and he passed away on December 2, 2008. He was well-known in the performance poetry scene and was the original organizer of the Montsalvat Poetry Festival in Victoria. Alongside Paul Smith, he edited the Whole Earth Sun-Moon Review, a periodical that included poetry, fiction, ecology, and more, starting in 1973. His manuscripts are preserved in the Australian Special Research Collection at the University College Library of the Australian Defence Force Academy.
