Hugh Geoffrey Thomas is a Welsh pastor born on October 15, 1938, in Merthyr Tydfil. He served as pastor of Alfred Place Baptist Church for fifty years and is a Particular Baptist. He studied at the University College of Cardiff and Westminster Theological Seminary. Currently, he is a visiting professor of Historical Theology at Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. His contributions to theology were recognized with a Festschrift in honor of his work in 2013, and his autobiography, 'In The Shadow of the Rock', was published in 2022.
