Gabriel Feris was an Argentine journalist and politician, born on April 24, 1914, in Corrientes. He served as a national and provincial legislator, and as vice governor of Corrientes at various times. He co-founded the newspaper La Mañana and worked as its editor, alongside notable figures like Elías Abad. Feris was also the first director of El Litoral, a position he held for 28 years. He played a significant role in the Autonomist Party and served as a national senator from 1983 to 1987 after the return to democracy. He passed away on February 17, 2002.
