Geoffrey George Edgar Scudder (March 18, 1934 – July 4, 2023) was a British and Canadian entomologist, museum curator, and university lecturer. He specialized in the order Hemiptera, having described two new families, 68 genera, and 275 species. Scudder is noted for creating one of Canada's finest insect museum collections at the University of British Columbia. He served as the head of the zoology department from 1967 to 1991. A fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, he also served as the president of the Canadian Society of Zoologists from 1989 to 1990 and was appointed a Member of the Order of Canada in 2002.
