Fumio Umekawa (April 9, 1906 - April 4, 1968) was a Japanese politician, proletarian literature writer, and labor-farmer movement activist. He served as the 6th mayor of Matsusaka City in Mie Prefecture. Umekawa was a senior to Tamura Gen, a former Speaker of the House of Representatives, and a junior to filmmaker Yasujirō Ozu. He also published many poems and essays under the pen name Horisakayama.
