Fujihiko Hosono is a Japanese manga artist, born on December 2, 1959, in Ōta, Tokyo. He made his debut in 1979 with 'Crusher Joe' while studying at Keio University and became part of Studio Nue as an animator. He is known for his works in manga anthology series such as 'Petit Apple Pie', and is the author of 'Gallery Fake' and 'Tarō', for which he received the Shogakukan Manga Award in 1996.
