He served as the mayor of Drjenowje for many years and was a member and chair of the Domowina association. Kschammer was active in the 1980s and worked as a teacher from 1963 to 1969. He held various leadership positions, including deputy chairman from 1993 to 1999 and chairman from 1999 to 2000. His contributions to the community were recognized with two awards from Domowina in 2013 and 2020.
