Frits Hirschland was a Dutch manager of pop groups and music producer born on December 24, 1948, in Essen. He started in the children’s clothing business before turning to pop music. He managed several bands, including Kayak, The Hammer, and Earth & Fire, from the 1970s to early 1980s. Known for producing albums, he helped make the Austrian musician Falco famous with 'Rock me Amadeus', which topped the US charts. He claimed to have been approached by secret service members in 1987 regarding a mission in Suriname.
