Fredrik Adrian Svenning Torp was a prominent Norwegian architect born on May 24, 1937. After completing his degree at the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1961, he co-founded Telje-Torp-Aasen Arkitektkontor in 1965, alongside Are Telje and Knut Aasen. His notable architectural works include the new University Library of Oslo, completed in 1999, and the Oslo police headquarters, designed in 1978. Torp passed away on July 26, 2023, at the age of 86.
