Lieutenant General Sir Frederick Richard Viggers, born on 29 June 1951, is a former senior officer of the British Army who held the position of Adjutant-General to the Forces until his retirement in 2008. Following his military career, he served as the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod from April 30, 2009, to October 28, 2010. Viggers also had notable deployments in Bosnia during the Yugoslav Wars and took part in the Iraq War.
