Frank Moorhouse (21 December 1938 - 26 June 2022) was an Australian writer, novelist, and screenwriter. He studied at the University of Queensland. His works were published in the UK, France, and the USA and translated into several languages, including German, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Serbian, and Swedish. Moorhouse is well-known for winning the Miles Franklin Literary Award in 2001 for his novel 'Dark Palace'.
