Frank Otto Gause was an American football player born on February 11, 1905, in Minneapolis. He gained recognition as a star athlete at North High School in the early 1920s. Gause played professionally as a center and guard for the Minneapolis Red Jackets in the NFL, participating in three games during the 1929 season, including two as a starter. In 1931, he also played for the Ace Box Lunch team. Gause passed away on August 15, 1972, in Minneapolis.
