Frank 'Bomp' Bompensiero (1905-1977) was a Sicilian-American mobster known for his role as a caporegime in the Los Angeles crime family. Following the death of boss Jack Dragna in 1956, he was demoted to soldier by new boss Frank DeSimone. Notorious for committing numerous killings on orders, he had a reputation that prompted associates like Jimmy Fratianno to remark on his violent history, famously stating he 'buried more bones than could be found' in the Museum of Natural History.
