Francisco San José y González (1919-1981) was a Spanish painter who was actively involved in the second School of Vallecas and developed part of his work in Venezuela. He was the nephew of writer Diego San José and married fellow painter Pilar Aranda Nicolás. His contributions to art were significant during his lifetime, fostering cultural exchanges between Spain and Latin America.
