Shobha Nehru, also known as Fori Nehru and Auntie Fori, was a Hungarian-born Indian social worker known for her significant contributions during the partition of India, where she was the only female member of an Emergency Committee assisting Muslim refugees. She co-founded an employment campaign for refugee women and worked with the All India Handicrafts Board. Throughout her life, she accompanied her husband, Braj Kumar Nehru, during his diplomatic assignments, and confronted Indira Gandhi about the Emergency's excesses. She later documented Jewish history through correspondence with Sir Martin Gilbert.
