Floyd Chester Sneed (1942-2023) was a Canadian drummer, celebrated for his role in the band Three Dog Night. Born in Calgary, he was influenced by a musical family and started drumming early, receiving his first kit from his sister. Sneed joined Three Dog Night in 1968 and contributed to their success, notably singing backup on the hit 'Joy to the World.' He worked with various groups post-Three Dog Night, including touring with The Ohio Players, and formed his band Same Dog New Tricks. Sneed also appeared in a Chong film and continued performing until his passing.
