Ferran Arasa i Subirats was a Catalan landscape painter born on November 12, 1905, in Tortosa. He began his artistic training in Tortosa and held his first exhibition there in 1926. During the Spanish Civil War, he moved to Mallorca. His works, characterized by a vibrant expressionist style, predominantly depict the landscapes of the Ebre region. Notable recognitions include the Creu de Sant Jordi awarded in 1986. He passed away on July 15, 1992, in Tortosa.
