He gained recognition after composing the hit song 'Te diré adiós' at the age of 18, which led to a prolific career. Valades recorded over 100 compositions and performed across Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the U.S. His notable works include 'Asómate a mi alma,' 'El diccionario,' and 'Ansias de amor.' He passed away on December 14, 1978, in Mexico City.
