Fereydoon Moshiri (1926 - 2000) was an Iranian poet born on September 22, 1926, in Tehran. He studied at the University of Tehran and in his youth, he read the works of prominent Persian poets such as Hafez, Saadi, Ferdowsi, and Nizami. His published poetry collections include 'Atash-e Asifah' (1955), 'Ghaym va Zoghaq' (1966), 'Javhareh-e Houb' (1986), 'Jamileh Abradi' (1998), and 'Be Sobhe Elahi Madi' (2000). He is known for his contributions to modern Persian literature.
