Ferdinand Haberl was a German Catholic theologian, composer, musicologist, organist, and choir director, born on March 15, 1906, in Lintach and died on July 3, 1985, in Regensburg. He led the Church Music School in Regensburg and served as an honorary professor of Catholic church music at the University of Regensburg. Additionally, he was the president of the Pontifical Institute of Church Music in Rome.
