He served as the eleventh bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Jerusalem, which encompasses Palestine, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and the wider region. His leadership spanned from 1976 to 1984, during which he made significant efforts to Arabize the diocese. Haddad was notable for being the first Arab bishop to preside over the diocese in its history.
