Evita Muñoz, known as Evita Muñoz, was a celebrated Mexican actress born on November 14, 1936, in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. The daughter of actors Francisco Paco Muñoz and Ernestina Ruiz, she began her film career at the age of four and became a successful child actress during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. Throughout her career, she received numerous accolades, including the Mexican Cinema Award. She married Hugo Macías in 1958 and had three children. Evita gained popularity in the Arab world for her role as Candy in the series María la del Barrio, which aired on Abu Dhabi TV.
