Born in Sejling, he suffered from Spinal Muscular Atrophy II from birth. He served as the chairman of the foundation for 42 years, advocating for improved support for people with muscular dystrophy. Additionally, Krog was involved in the establishment of the RehabiliteringsCenter for Muskelsvind and the Grøn Koncert festival. He also contributed to arts, performing jazz and participating in the film RIGET II by Lars von Trier.
