Eugenio Fontán Pérez was a Spanish radio entrepreneur born in Sevilla on September 1, 1927. He was the son of Antonio Fontán de la Orden, a military engineer influential in establishing Radio Sevilla. Eugenio became the director of Cadena SER after his brother Antonio and contributed to its growth during his tenure. He also presided over Unión Ibérica de Radio, acquiring a major stake in Radio España in the 1980s, and held the presidency of Sociedad Ibérica de Comunicaciones, SA, up until 1996.
