Esteban Hotesse was a Dominican American second lieutenant in the United States Army Air Force, known for being a member of the Tuskegee Airmen during World War II. He was the only Dominican-born Tuskegee Airman. Born on February 11, 1919, he served courageously until his untimely death in a B-25 Mitchell crash on July 8, 1945. His legacy is significant in both Dominican and American military history.
