Erna Huneus, also known as Erna Löweneck, was a German swimmer born on April 7, 1910, in Mönchengladbach and passed away on November 9, 2006, in Munich. She set a world record in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1925 and became the national champion in the same event in 1926. She was married to Professor Max Löweneck, a urologist and surgeon.
