Erin D. Bigler is a retired American neuropsychologist born on July 9, 1949. He served as the Susa Young Gates Professor at Brigham Young University (BYU), where he focused on psychology and neuroscience, particularly in neuroimaging research. Bigler was the president of both the National Academy of Neuropsychology and the International Neuropsychological Society. He founded the Brain Imaging and Behavior Laboratory at BYU and directed the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Research Facility from 2013 until his retirement in 2018. He has two children with his wife, Janet Beckstrom.
