Erik Viggo Valeur, born on September 2, 1955, in Copenhagen, is a Danish journalist, author, and media commentator. He began his journalism career in the late 1970s at Berlingske Tidende and co-founded Månedsbladet Press in 1985. Later, he worked at DR, leading the Documentation Group on P1. He is known for his media commentary in Politiken and Jyllands-Posten. Valeur has received several awards for his work, including the Kryger Prize and the Cavling Prize, and his debut novel, 'Det syvende barn', won multiple accolades and became a bestseller in Denmark.
