Erik Lindgren (1925-2005) was a Swedish postal officer and postal historian who contributed significantly to Swedish postal history. He began his career in 1947 and held various positions, including first postal assistant and chief controller. Lindgren had a passion for postal history, publishing his first book in 1980 and over 400 pamphlets on the subject. He wrote a notable work for the postal service's 350th anniversary in 1986. Recognized for his contributions, he received the Strandell Medal in 1995 for aiding stamp collectors and enhancing postal history in Sweden.
