Erik Grip, born on July 2, 1947, in Nykøbing Falster, is a Danish singer-songwriter known for his interpretations of Frank Jæger's poetry. He gained popularity in the 1960s at Smøgens Visevershus in Tivoli. His notable works include 'Rose skal vi danse' (1979), 'De levendes land' (1983), and 'Af et ærligt hjerte' (2005), the latter receiving a Grammy nomination. Predominantly performing across Norway and Denmark, he is best known for the song 'Velkommen i den Grønne lund', featuring lyrics by N.F.S. Grundtvig.
