Erik Ellegaard Frederiksen was a Danish graphic artist, designer, and architect born on April 29, 1924, in Copenhagen. He served as a teacher at the Graphic Arts School from 1951 to 1979 and also worked as a freelancer. Frederiksen is known for redesigning logos and symbols for brands such as Irmas Irmapige, Amagerbankens Amagermand, Icopal, and the city of Copenhagen's coat of arms. He was educated at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and is buried at Ordrup Cemetery.
