Hans Eric Åke Bylander, born on May 9, 1973, in Uppsala, Sweden, is a prominent Swedish lawyer and professor of procedural law at Uppsala University. He studied law and rhetoric at Uppsala University, earning his degrees in law (1998) and rhetoric (2003), followed by his doctorate in procedural law in 2006. Bylander has held academic positions at both University of Gothenburg and Uppsala University, where he has been a professor since 2018. He is also noted for his work in heraldry and has served as vice chairman of the Societas Heraldica Scandinavica.
