He was born on January 2, 1925, and passed away on August 31, 2009. Eraño was the fifth child of Felix Y. Manalo, the founder of the INC, and Honorata De Guzman. He is remembered for his leadership role within the church and for his family, having married Cristina Villanueva and fathered six children.
