Emilio Chamorro, known as el Tata or Emilio del Campo, was an Argentine musician and guitarist born in 1904 in Nueve de Julio, Corrientes. He is recognized as a pioneer of chamamé and litoraleña music in Argentina. In 1931, he formed the famous chamamé group Los Hijos de Corrientes, which became a training ground for many renowned musicians. Between 1944 and 1945, he opened La Ranchada in Rosario, a key hub for chamamé. Notable songs by him include 'San Luis', 'Taragüí rapé', and 'Lamento correntino'.
