Emil Dusiška was a German politician, journalist, and professor in the German Democratic Republic. He was born on April 27, 1914, in Berlin and passed away on December 24, 2002, in Todtmoos. Dusiška served as the director of the Journalism section at Leipzig University from 1967 to 1979 and was a member of the Agitation Commission at the SED Central Committee. Additionally, he held the position of Secretary-General of the International Association for Mass Communication Research at the United Nations from 1972 to 1982.
