Ema Tōyama is a Japanese manga artist born on May 23, 1981, in Tokyo Prefecture, Japan. She is the niece of manga artist Hikaru Tōyama. Her debut came in September 2003 with the story 'Tenshi no Tamago' published in Nakayoshi magazine. Her first series, 'Gokkun! Pūcho,' was also serialized in Nakayoshi. In the USA, her work was licensed by Tokyopop as 'Pixie Pop.' Most of her works have been published by Kodansha, and several series including 'Love Hotel Princess' and 'Tell me your Secrets!' have been released in German by Egmont Manga.
